Public institutions must charge tuition and fees at the resident rate for all covered individuals for a program to remain approved for Post-9/11 GI Bill or Montgomery GI Bill - Active Duty (MGIB-AD) benefits for training periods that began after July 1, 2015. VA will not issue payments for any students eligible for those benefit programs until the school fully complies.
